Marlene began her real estate career in 1985. She enjoyed 5 years of teaching shorthand and typing in the Chicago High School System, as well as Marillac Catholic High School, which was in Northfield, Illinois.
She started her career when her family suffered a loss when the Savings and Loan, Unity, was acquired by the Federal Government. At that time, she was encouraged by her ex-husband, then involved in mortgages, to begin her real estate career. Marlene graduated from Chicago Teacher’s College in Business Education and has many hours credited at Oakton Community College for a Master’s Degree in Social Work.
For more than 47 years, Marlene has resided in Chicago and the North Suburban area, where she currently lives in a townhome much like those she sells throughout the North Shore. Marlene has 3 married children and 4 grandchildren and enjoys the rare times that she can spend in Las Vegas and Ann Arbor, Michigan with her family. She is happy that her daughter, Debbie lives nearby in Riverwoods with her husband Ken Willens.
Marlene has a strong interest in keeping physically fit and when she is not working, enjoys walking outside and swimming.
Marlene is committed to constant improvement by attending seminars throughout the United States with the utmost of integrity and working towards making a difference in the real estate industry to further the professionalism of real estate agents.
She has been a consistent, top-producing real estate professional within her company. Her mission is to provide quality service, results and total satisfaction to her clients.
